About The Auldhouse League

The Auldhouse League runs from April to September and is open to club and Non club members. Cyclists of mixed abilities take part and is a social event as much as a competitive event. The league normally runs on a Tuesday night (start time is normally at 7.30PM). The league is run on a handicap basis, so you don't need to be the fastest rider to win the league. You can find dates for the Auldhouse by looking on the club calendar. A £1.00 contribution is requested to take part.

Auldhouse news

Due to roadworks the course has been changed slightly a few times in 2011. Currently the start has been moved to Hhurlawcrook road (1/4 mile away). The meeting point remains the same. If you are unsure of the current route try to arrive at the meeting point (Langlands Drive) a bit earlier i.e.7.20ish The 2010 Winners were Ian Hughes (St Christophers) and Keith Jones (Visitors)

Where We meet

We meet at Langlands Drive in the Kelvin Industrial Estate in East Kilbride. The route is approximately 10 miles around the quite Auldhouse lanes.

Due to the very inclement weather on the night and with only 2 riders appearing in the interests of safety tonights event was cancelled. Next week ( 13th )will be the final league event of the year. First man off at 7pm sharp with a 30 second interval between them. Let's hope the weather will be a bit kinder.
