57 Mon, Apr 11th 2011, 12:26 Auldhouse League 2011

The Auldhouse league will be starting up again on Tuesday 19th April. The meeting point will be the usual spot on Langlands Drive in the Kelvin Industrial Estate. So we can finish when it's still light we will start at 7PM. Due to the continual problems with the roads around Auldhouse we will be using the slightly shorter route i.e. the same route that was used for most of last year. The first two weeks are used to get use to the course and for Jack to workout his infamous handicap system. You can find out more on the Auldhouse page. As always new faces are always welcome.

59 Mon, May 9th 2011, 17:59 Willie Rafferty Memorial 10mile TT It's time to be entering, or at least thinking about entering this ever popular event on Wed.the 1st of June. It's held on the A77, which is a fairly quiet road and if the road is not the most popular, then the catering after has proved very popular, so it's well worth coming for this alone! Details can be found on http://new.britishcycling.org.uk/events/details/54902/Willie-Rafferty-Memorial-10mile-TT View Edit

It’s Summer again and here comes the 3-Ferries club run. As with last year, the aim is for a good day out, so lets try to have a big turnout – all are welcome (members or not – just drop me a note on the forum page) and there are routes to match everyone as you don’t want to miss out on the cakes at Etrrick Bay… ;) See the Forum for full details

63 Tue, Aug 2nd 2011, 23:42 Confined 10 Please note the club's confined 10 will take place on Thursday 11th August at 7.30pm. The course will be our usual one on the old A77. All riders are welcome to come along on the evening but only club members will eligible for the prizes. As last year, I believe there is a 1st and runner up prize and also at least one prize based on riders handicap times. Hopefully Andy's cafe will be available for after ride drinks and cakes. I have checked the long range weather and it's wall to wall sunshine with a gentle warm breeze!!!!! So hope to see you all there View Edit

68 Wed, Sep 14th 2011, 15:06 Club meeting There is a club meeting in the Auldhouse next Wednesday (21st September) at 7:30pm. The intention of the meeting is to discuss the winter programme for the club, i.e. Wednesday nights, Sunday runs/Club runs and the winter TT etc. As a club we’ve had more people racing, with many of us achieving new PB’s. I’m sure that most would like this to continue, so I would like to get everyone’s ideas on what they would like to see over the winter. I would also like to give Mandy and Derek a heads-up on the Wednesday nights, as I would really like to see a programme put up on the web (sorry Colin, this could result in more work for you) particularly for those that can’t manage every week or for those that would like to do a little more in between Wednesday’s. Hope to see as many as possible. If you can't make it please let me know what you are thinking so we can have as many ideas as possible, it could even be on future runs etc... View Edit
