Ice Breaker TT

The provisional date for this very popular TT is the 19th of Feb., so we only have seven weeks to get to our fighting fitness. Remember this is a two up event, so can people interested put their names down on this site. Also, this is as good a time as any to come up on a Wed. night, even if you don't have a turbo or rollers, you can take part in the circuit training, you might be glad of it half way round the Ice Breaker. |

I'm still waiting on people to come forward and put their names down for this event, so far we have Andy W. David T. Colin M. Colin G. Last year we had six teams riding, so I'm sure we can do better than just having two. Remember, it's now less than six weeks to go before the seasons starts again. |

We now have Andy W. David T. Colin M. Colin G. Derek McM. Robert L. Michael L. to be confirmed Mandy C. Alan C. I think Mandy has still to tell Alan We need Alan R., Jim McA., Ian H. to say that they will be entering and we can make up the same teams as last year, if people are happy with that. If anyone else wants to give it a go, just put your name on the forum. |

There is a change of course this year, we no longer have the long drag of the last two years. The new course is the Eglinton 10, the A78 down to the papermill roundabout and back, with a total climb of 20m, or 66ft for the older riders. We now have six teams, made up as Colin G. and Derek McM. Andy W. and David T. Colin M. and Jim McA Alan R. and Ali B. Mandy C. and Alan C. Micael L. and Robert L. The first two teams are set, the rest are flexible. Entries as per previous posting, don't be late in entering. |

The Icebreaker is now more than half full and we only have two teams entered. Places are now starting to run out, as is the time to enter, closing date is on the 12th, so if you want to ride, don't leave it too late. |

If anyone was going to enter the Icebreaker, but saw that it was now full, disregard that. On Wed. night they were taking up to 60 teams, with about 25 places still available. Last night their site said they were only taking 40 teams with 1 place left and that place was filled this morning. However today (Friday) it is back to 60 teams with 19 places available. If you want to enter, I'd do it quickly, in case it changes again |
