I've just been reading how hard they work at the EKRC turbo nights, it's a really hard 60 mins. SIXTY MINUTES, we do that on the turbos THEN after Mandy has broken our bodies she then proceeds to spend another SIXTY MINUTES breaking our spirits. I can thoroughly recommend it, the pain and exhaustion is only transient. |

As with the club runs, with only 6 weeks to go to the start of the racing season lets start seeing some more faces at the roller nights. Derek has promised to start the circuits this week and I’m sure the interval workouts will continue to be just as popular. This year we appear to be lacking the regular numbers and as such we are delving into the club funds just to cover our costs. These nights are not just for those with turbo’s we also do other workouts and if you don’t have a turbo you can always try your luck on the club’s rollers – a great way to develop bike handling skills. In addition the nights provide a good opportunity for a bit of banter amongst members with coffee and the odd biscuit. As usual non-members are welcome. So come on and lets see a bigger turnout in future… |
