A dry evening tonight although a brisk wind made a bit of a slog on the way out and the last drag uphill before the left turn down to the finish.

The best night of the year so far. Dry, warm and very little breeze. The only fly in the ointment, the new surface (loose chippings) on the road before Auldhouse. A bit of care had to be taken there which lost most riders a few seconds.
